The Pronghorns men's basketball team has grabbed some impressive help at the guard spot from one of New York City's best players.

Gillette College coach Shawn Neary on Sunday announced the signing of Naquan Pierce.

Pierce, who played at John F. Kennedy High School in the Bronx, will join Gillette for this season's campaign.

The 5-foot-9-inch, 150-pound guard averaged 22 points and nine assists per game in his senior season.
